One-Component Straw / Gun Spray Foam Insulation1-Component Straw / Gun Spray Foam insulation by Handi-Foam® is a UL-classified sealant. Designed for sealing cracks, seams and smaller gaps, it will eliminate drafts, block insects, deaden sound and repel moisture. One-Component spray foam insulation cures when moisture in the air reacts with the chemistry of the foam. Handi-Foam® One-Component Spray Foam insulation cures to in place densities between 1.0 and 2.0lbs per cubic foot (16.02 to 32.04kgs per cubic meter) and carry an R-value of 4 to 5 per inch (2.54cm). This spray foam will cure tack-free in 10 minutes, can be trimmed or cut in 1 hour and will reach full cure in 24 hours or less. Optimal application temperature is between 65 F–100 F. Air temperature during application can range from 40F to 115F. Cured foam is resistant to a wide range of temperatures (+200 to - 200 F) and unlike many can spray foams it will repel moisture due to it’s unique closed cell properties. Straw Foam cans include an attachable straw and trigger assembly used to dispense the foam. Typical applications include:
