Zero-Perm™ Vapor Barrier |
Zero-Perm™ Vapor BarrierZero-Perm™ Vapor Barrier from Polyguard is a tough, flexible "perfect barrier" zero-perm vapor barrier membrane. Primary use is as a med-depth secondary vapor barrier, and/or as a primary vapor barrier on insulation systems under protective pvc or metal jacketing. Zero-Perm™ Vapor Barrier is a polyester and aluminum composite. Zero-Perm™ fuses polyester film to both sides of a natural aluminum foil forming a tough, durable, flexible and impervious vapor barrier . Zero-Perm™ is a vapor barrier for installation on cold systems either between layers of insulation on sub-freezing projects such as LNG piping, ammonia, glycol & brine systems and other cold mechanical applications where a superior vapor barrier is needed. Zero-Perm™ is intended for use on below ambient or sub-freezing duct, vessel or piping, it is also effective on cyclical systems within its upper temperature limit. Zero-Perm™ can also be used as a building envelope vapor barrier when critical building design requires superior moisture control. |
